Barstoni Insurance Agency Limited is a licensed insurance intermediary regulated by the Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA) of Kenya. We arrange insurance on your behalf with IRA-licensed insurers; the insurance contract itself is between you and the insurer named on your policy.

2. Quotations

Instant quotes shown on this website are indicative estimates based on the details you enter. Final premiums and terms are confirmed on the formal quotation and policy documents. Quotations are valid for the period stated on them.

3. Accuracy of Information

Insurance is issued on the basis of the information you provide. Inaccurate or incomplete shipment details (including values, cargo description, HS codes and document numbers) may invalidate cover or delay claims. You are responsible for the accuracy of information submitted.

4. Certificates

Digital marine cargo insurance certificates are issued by the underwriting insurer and are verifiable through our Certificate Checker. Forgery or alteration of certificates is a criminal offence and will be reported.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Barstoni is not liable for losses arising from reliance on indicative quotes, website downtime, or events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Kenyan law.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya have jurisdiction over any dispute.
